Description

EcoFoil Single Bubble Reflective Insulation (White/Foil) is constructed with a single layer of polyethylene bubbles bonded between a layer of 99.9% pure aluminum radiant barrier on one side, and a sheet of smooth white polyethylene on the other side. All radiant barriers need at least a small amount of air space on both sides for the foil to reflect properly. Our foil bubble insulation can be applied in tight spaces like basement walls or between floor joists and serve both as an insulator AND a radiant barrier, because the bubble layer provides an R-value, as well as that air space which the foil needs to properly reflect radiant heat. EcoFoil reflective insulation works especially well in metal and post frame buildings because it is designed to reduce radiant heat gain/loss and eliminate condensation. When fitted to a wall, ceiling, or other area, the foil side blocks and reflects 97% of radiant heat coming into the building in the summer, and traveling out of the building in the winter. Meanwhile, the white poly side (which is water resistant and easy to keep clean) provides a finished appearance to the inside of your building. This “green” insulation will pay for itself quickly, by significantly reducing the amount of heat leaving or entering any structure where it is applied, therefore making your building or living space more comfortable while reducing overall energy utility costs.
