Description
The Standard Gage 00634001 universal bevel protractor has a dial with a built-in magnifying glass for readout of each 1 degree, a vernier scale for measurement to each 5 minutes, and a 12″ scale. It measures in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, with a measuring range of 4 x 90 degrees. The protractor measures angles to accurately position a workpiece or to repeat specific angle cuts.
The protractor has a built-in magnifying glass to indicate readouts. The vernier scale increases the tool’s accuracy, with resolution to 5 minutes (1/12 of a degree). The scale includes locking and fine-adjusting knurled thumbwheels for consistent measurements. The body is made from chrome-finished stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability.

Protractors are tools that measure specific angles, which allow users to create and replicate desired angles. The tools include a stationary base and movable rule, usually connected by a scale that may be digital or manual. They are useful in a wide range of applications, such as measuring crown molding and installing baseboards.
Standard Gage is owned by Hexagon Metrology, which produces many measuring products and is headquartered in London, UK.
