The Lincoln Electric Multi-Process WELD PAK® 180i MP DV is perfect for the workshop, farm, home or auto body shop. It requires common 120 or 230 Volt input power, so it can be used almost anywhere. With simple 2-knob control, the machine is easy to set up for gasless flux-core welding for deep penetration on thicker steel; gas-shielded MIG welding on thin gauge steel, stainless or aluminum; or for stick welding or DC TIG welding. The adjustable drive system reduces the chance of wire tangling and crushing, and the brass-to-brass gun connection enhances conductivity. The durable cast aluminum gear box delivers added drive torque and quiet operation, and the easy-turn numeric drive tension indicator identifies optimized ranges for different wire types. The capable performance forgiving arc makes dialing in your application easy. The smooth arc starts with minimal spatter. The wide 20-180 Amp welding output range is for MIG, FCAW and Spool Gun. The wide10-165 Amp welding output range is for DC TIG. The wide 25-160 Amp welding output range is for stick MIG weld 24-gauge up to 5/16 in. sheet metal in a single pass. Weld up to 5/16 in. steel using self-shielded Lincoln Electric NR- 211-MP wires. Stick weld to 3/16 in. (4.8 mm), and TIG weld to 1/8in. (3.1 mm). The optional TIG torch and foot pedal for remote control of weld output while TIG welding are both sold separately.
